ORIGIONALLY FORMED IN THE DAYS OF THE ANNUAL GOOSE MARKET HELD IN NOTTINGHAM
The Goose Market was held in Nottingham to sell all the birds breed in the surrounding area. The Fair was a means of relaxation after the business of the day was complete. Over the years the Fair grew but the Goose Market dwindled.
