The Nottingham Express Transit are the company that runs the tramline, they want to extend their system to another line dissecting the City from west to east crossing the existing line which runs from Hucknall to the Broadmarsh Centre. The trams have cut the flow of traffic greatly, they are cleaner and quieter than convential transport.
